Walking is a really big part of what I like to do to relax. That’s something that I can do wherever I’m at, and it gives me an opportunity to clear my head, and give some thought to what’s going on.

If time or money was no object, I would go to the bush – I was raised in the boreal forest (in the northern Alberta region). And I would love to learn about medicine, and about harvesting medicines off the land. I would love to find a healthy place and be in that world.

I want to brush up on my Cree. I’d like to play guitar. You know, there’s a lot of things I’d like to do, but life gets going pretty fast. For the pilot project that I just finished, I had to learn to knit. It’s such a tangle, but I’ve got to get it right.

I would also want to learn about the elements, the communication that is there with the Four-Leggeds, and the Winged Ones, and the Standing Tall Nations, and that language of the earth. I think this society has consciously, deliberately disconnected people from the force of Mother Earth, because if people really found their breath with the natural force that is our planet, man would not have anywhere near the power that they have. But people believe that this is the only way a society can work.
